Crystal Hotel owner Alija Budnjo: Kuwaitis who caused the incident were not our guests

The Kuwaitis who caused the incident in the garden of the Crystal Hotel are not our guests, and I suspect they were even paid to cause the incident, said Alija Budnjo, owner of Hotel Ilidža, which includes the Crystal, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- We constantly work with Kuwaitis and they are our regular guests. Patients from Kuwait who are treated in our spas arrive. They always return because they are welcome and satisfied with the service - Budnjo told NAP.

He explained that a group of Kuwaitis, including women, attacked a waiter in the hotel garden, and that they did not even have an order.

- The police arrived at the scene, they were handed over for further processing, and that is all I can say.

Incidentally, in recent months, a large number of tourists from Arab countries have been coming to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and there are numerous examples of their arrogance. The owner of a passenger transport company from Sarajevo recounted how Arabs often rent buses and go to mountains and excursion sites, but at the end of the ride, they do not want to pay the full price.

Another transport operator told us that they personally told him that "if it weren't for them, Bosnians would starve to death," after which the angry driver asked them to get off the bus and find their own way to the hotel.

- Allowing oneself such insolence has crossed every measure. I work honestly and fight for every mark, but I will not allow anyone to humiliate and insult me. The way things are going, it could soon lead to the emigration of Bosnian citizens if Arabs continue to come in such numbers.

According to the Patria agency, in the Sokolović Kolonija neighborhood, many residents are staying with relatives and friends in order to rent out their houses to Arabs who stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina for more than a month. And such a situation is also present in some other parts of Sarajevo Canton.
