The ruling coalition of BiH and its institutions are being presented as a 'walking circus' and a 'tribal society'

The meeting of the leaders of the ruling coalition parties, held in East Sarajevo and hosted by Milorad Dodik, is, unfortunately, an indicator of our grim reality.

It is good that they agreed on the procurement of helicopters for the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is only unclear what the Armed Forces will do with "unarmed" helicopters, as they called them.

They should have procured these helicopters for civil protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina. But this is probably a repayment of some "debt". Perhaps the one for the purchase of the building for the Indirect Taxation Authority.

They informed us that they agreed on the "Law on Border Service - which is fully harmonized and will be immediately submitted to the parliamentary procedure for decision-making, then the Law on Personal Data - four contentious points have been harmonized, only one remains, and the Growth Plan."

But from this information, we cannot conclude, nor do we know what was, nor what remains contentious. Only they – the participants of the meeting – should know that. Citizens, in any case, have no say.

Besides, they confirmed once again that the Council of Ministers and all ministers individually are just puppets on a string of the three leaders. The Council of Ministers neither does anything, nor can it do anything without their permission.

The Council of Ministers answers to them, instead of the Parliamentary Assembly. And the Parliamentary Assembly works according to their instructions and dictates. It is a terrible realization that democracy has come this far.

All discussions and agreements that need to be made should be conducted by elected officials, namely the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers and the Speakers of the Houses of the Parliamentary Assembly. And all meetings should and must be held in the building of state institutions.

I do not rule out the possibility and the need for meetings of the leaders of parliamentary parties. But these meetings must not take precedence over the meetings and agreements of the officeholders in our institutions.

This is how they want to present Bosnia and Herzegovina and its institutions as a "walking circus" and a "tribal society". Patriots should not agree to this under any circumstances!
