
(Patria) - Jasmin Šarić is the new acting director of the Tourist Board of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, which will become operational again after nine years.
At today's session of the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, by a unanimous decision, Jasmin Šarić was appointed acting director of the Tourist Board. In the coming period, his task will be to prepare all the documents for the establishment of this institution, which ceased operations in 2015.
“We want to put our tourism potentials into function because our canton truly has enormous tourism potentials that we believe have not been sufficiently utilized, and this is one of the more important steps towards giving tourism in our canton greater significance,” said the Prime Minister of ZDC, Nezir Pivić.
At today's session of the Government of ZDC, decisions were also adopted regarding incentives for milk purchase in the amount of 1.5 million KM, as well as a decision on the allocation of additional funds for the “9. septembar” Elementary School in Medakovo near Tešanj.
“Earlier this year, we allocated 600,000 KM, and today we made a decision to approve additional funds so that this school will be ready to welcome students in the upcoming school year,” added Pivić.
He stated that a delegation of the Government recently visited the construction site of the mentioned school, whose construction began in 2020, and the project value is 2.5 million KM, of which the Zenica-Doboj Canton allocated 1.5 million, and the Municipality of Tešanj one million KM.
