Government pays salaries: Students of the Catholic School Center in Bihać to return to classes on Monday

The Government of Una-Sana Canton has paid the salaries of employees at the Catholic School Center "John Paul II" in Bihać, so classes at this school will resume on Monday, December 19, the school announced.

The management of the CSC in Bihać suspended classes at this school last week after teachers and staff did not receive their salaries.

The obligation to pay salaries for employees of the CSC "John Paul II" lies with the Government of Una-Sana Canton, but the Government had not fulfilled its obligations.

- According to the 2014 Agreement, the USK Government committed to financing only the salaries and allowances of CSC employees (excluding costs of electricity, heating, telephone, etc.) in accordance with Pedagogical Standards and Norms for secondary education – explained from the CSC.
