Government of TK prepared Budget rebalance for 2023.

(Patria) - The Government of Tuzla Canton (TK) has initiated the procedure for amendments and supplements to the 2023 Budget and amendments and supplements to the Law on the Execution of the TK Budget for 2023.

The goal is to align revenues and receipts with the realized revenues for the period January - September 2023, and the projection until the end of 2023, as well as to align expenditures and expenses with the projected revenues.

These amendments plan to increase the upper limit of expenditures by almost 4 million KM, with the most significant additional allocations relating to increased funds for subsidizing airline routes, as well as for improving the condition of UKC Tuzla.

An increase of 1,134,000 KM is planned for the Ministry of Health's spending unit.

Of this amount, 300,000 KM relates to the first phase project of adaptation and equipping of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Clinic for Psychiatry of JZU UKC Tuzla, and 604,000 KM for the adaptation of a part of the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics of JZU UKC Tuzla.

200,000 KM is planned for the payment of provided health services to uninsured persons, and 30,000 KM for the reconstruction of premises at the Clinic for Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases and Head and Neck Surgery.

The Ministry of Finance of TK is tasked with increasing funds for the JP International Airport Tuzla spending unit by 2.5 million KM as subsidies for airline routes.

The Ministry will also increase the planned funds for the Cantonal Forestry Administration by 143,524 KM, for financing the costs of Implementation Projects of Forest Management Works of JP "Šume Tuzlanskog kantona" d.d. Kladanj.

In addition to the above, an increase of 85,000 KM will be planned for the Support for the Return of Displaced Persons spending unit for the realization of projects in returnee cities/municipalities.

By today's Conclusion, the Ministry of Finance is tasked with submitting the proposal for Amendments and Supplements to the TK Budget for 2023 to the Government of TK on October 24.
