(Patria) - With the aim of improving healthcare for the population and the satisfaction of healthcare service users in the Tuzla Canton, the Government of Tuzla Canton today approved the Program for Improving Healthcare in healthcare institutions for the 2024/2025 year.
This is planned through enabling the provision of a wider scope of healthcare services by engaging additional professional staff - doctors of medicine in healthcare institutions in the Tuzla Canton, in accordance with the Program for co-financing the employment of doctors of medicine implemented by the Public Institution Employment Service of Tuzla Canton.
The improvement program represents support for the Program for co-financing the employment of doctors of medicine, financed by the Federal Employment Bureau and the Public Institution Employment Service of Tuzla Canton, and involves financing healthcare institutions from June 1st until the end of the engagement of doctors of medicine under the Program for co-financing the employment of doctors of medicine.
In this regard, the Tuzla Canton Health Insurance Fund is tasked with securing a total of 2,268,000 KM in its planning documents for 2024 and 2025 to finance the improvement of healthcare in accordance with this program.
The aforementioned funds relate to financing the engagement of 70 doctors of medicine, amounting to up to 2,700 KM per month per engaged doctor.
