RS Government will not discuss amendments to the Law on Holidays

The Government of Republika Srpska will not discuss amendments to the Law on Holidays in Republika Srpska at today's government session, NAP writes.

The National Assembly of Republika Srpska requested yesterday from the RS Government to submit amendments and supplements to the Law on Holidays of Republika Srpska to the parliamentary procedure.

The amendments to the Law on Holidays will enable the authorities in this BiH entity to comply with the Decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH, which declared the celebration of January 9 - as the Day of Republika Srpska - unconstitutional. Through the amendments to the Law on Holidays, the authorities from Banja Luka want to satisfy the Constitutional Court, but also to allow January 9 to continue to be observed. This time legally.
