RS Government Hides Information on BiH Citizenship Issued to Russian Volunteers

We were unable to obtain confirmation of BiH citizenship for Russian volunteer Igor Girkin, who was part of the RS Army during the aggression against BiH and is now a leader of terrorists in Ukraine, from the competent RS institutions, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

After the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS referred us to the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government of RS, we did not receive a response to our official inquiry yesterday.

Today, in a phone conversation, public relations officer Dragana Bulić told Patria that they do not provide such information.

We remind you that Girkin, according to Aziz Tafra, the author of the book "Russian and Greek Mercenaries in the War in BiH", came to BiH at a very young age without any military experience and was a volunteer of the RS Army, and after the aggression, most of them stayed in BiH and worked as deminers and received BiH citizenship.

Girkin took responsibility for shooting down a Malaysian plane over Ukraine, in which 288 people were killed, writes NAP.
