RS Government Allocates Nearly Four Million KM to Ministry of Economy for Salary Increases

(Patria) - The Government of Republika Srpska today at its session in Banja Luka gave consent to the Spending Plan of a total of 3,890,000 KM for the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship for nine months of this year, which relates to subsidies for incentives for increasing workers' salaries.

The statement notes that these funds are intended for the payment of subsidies to business entities for the period from July 1 to December 31, 2023, during which an actual increase in workers' salaries was carried out, thereby, in accordance with the Law on Incentives in the Economy of Republika Srpska and the Rulebook on the Procedure for Granting Incentives for Increasing Workers' Salaries, they acquired the right to payment of a certain amount.

The Government of Republika Srpska adopted the Information on holding the event "Kočić's Gathering" and tasked the Ministry of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska with organizing this event, and passed a decision on appointing the Organizing Committee of the 59th "Kočić's Gathering".

The Government also adopted the Information on the proposal for co-financing the Energy Efficiency Project of the Public Institution Secondary School Center "Petar Petrović Njegoš", Čajniče, led by the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology. The total value of the project is 150,000.00 KM, and the goal is to improve energy efficiency measures and save energy used for heating the facility.

A Decision was also made to give consent to the Spending Plan of funds for the Republican Secretariat for Displaced Persons and Migration for the period January 1 - September 30, 2024, in the total amount of 111,454.36 KM.

The Government of Republika Srpska today also adopted the Information on the need to approve assistance for carrying out emergency rehabilitation works on the restoration of the complex of the Old Church of St. Nicholas in Romanovci near Gradiška.
