Government dismisses old board: UKCS to get a new Management Board in three months

The Government of the Federation of BiH, due to the expiry of their mandates, has dismissed the president and members of the Management Board of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, and temporarily appointed Jasmin Kapetanović (president), Goran Stojaković, Benjamin Kulovac, Amer Ovčina, Ferihu Ćatiušić, Samir Muminović, Sulejman Muminović, Nusret Popović, Dragan Salomon, Amra Karić and Alma Pehlić (members) to these positions for a period of up to three months, or until the completion of the tender procedure, reports the Patria News Agency. 

Given the number of accumulated problems at the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, as well as their complexity, and the importance of this institution for the citizens of FBiH, the Government of the Federation of BiH believes that this issue should be given special attention, especially when it comes to selecting professional and capable candidates who will work on long-term solutions.

The Government will undertake all necessary measures in the coming period to complete the procedure for the final appointment of eminent candidates with appropriate professional skills to lead the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, it was announced from the Government of FBiH.
