KS Government held session on Bjelašnica: Decision on establishing the Tourism Association of KS adopted

The Government of Sarajevo Canton (KS) at today's session, held at the premises of the "Zaim Kolar" Elementary School in Šabići, adopted the Decision on establishing the Tourism Association of Sarajevo Canton. The Ministry of Economy of KS will carry out all necessary preliminary steps for its establishment, as well as organizing the founding assembly, reports the Patria agency.

Within 15 days from the date this decision enters into force, the Government will propose the appointment of a temporary president of the founding assembly and its two members with a mandate until the establishment of the regular assembly of the Tourism Association of KS. As stipulated by the decision, the Tourism Association will have the following bodies: an assembly, a supervisory board, a tourism council, a president, and a tourism support office.

It was emphasized that, according to the Law on Tourism, employees from the former Tourism Association, which ceased to exist by a decision of the Constitutional Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2015, will be offered the possibility of transferring to an employment relationship in the Tourism Association of KS. This decision has been forwarded to the Assembly of KS for consideration and adoption.
