Government of Sarajevo Canton: Hiring two neurosurgeons at KCUS and 54 doctors of medicine in six health institutions

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Government of Sarajevo Canton, at the proposal of the Ministry of Health, approved the employment of two specialist neurosurgeons at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo. As stated in the request of this institution to the relevant ministry, these are extremely scarce personnel necessary for the protection of the health of citizens of the Canton and the Federation of BiH. The employment of these doctors on a permanent basis will be carried out after the public advertisement procedure has been completed.

The Government adopted the list of employers who meet the conditions for participation in the Program for co-financing the employment of doctors of medicine of the "Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton".

Based on the announced public call of this Public Institution addressed to employers, i.e., public and private health institutions in the area of Sarajevo Canton for participation in the Program for co-financing the employment of doctors of medicine, the procedure for selecting employers has been completed. The Service will, over a period of 12 months, monthly refund funds in the total amount of 1,300.00 KM per newly employed person for part of the salary payment and payment of legally prescribed taxes and contributions.

Upon review of the received applications, it was determined that six health institutions meet the conditions of the Public Call and will employ 54 unemployed doctors of medicine.
