KS Government Submits Law to Parliament Enabling Payment of Remaining Subsidies for Youth from 2023

(Patria) - The Government of Sarajevo Canton has submitted a law to the parliamentary procedure that will enable the payment of the remaining subsidies for youth from 2023, confirmed Prime Minister Nihad Uk after today's session.

According to his explanation, the Bill on the Allocation of Financial Resources to Subsidy Beneficiaries under the Public Call for Subsidizing the Resolution of Housing Issues for Youth for 2023 creates the legal prerequisites for the payment of the remaining subsidy amounts to young people who applied for the resolution of their housing issues.

- We are pleased to confirm that payments will follow upon completion of the parliamentary procedure - Uk stated.

Although the Minister of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton, Mladen Pandurević, believes that subsidies are generally one of the poorer modalities for solving problems in all areas, he says he has accepted the political stance of the Prime Minister and the Government that it is necessary to resolve the existing problem of subsidizing youth for the purchase of their first apartment.

- I have fulfilled my promise and in less than 2.5 months in this position, I have offered a modality to solve this problem that has burdened both the KS Government and 1,135 young people for almost three years.

My associates and I have found a way to secure five million KM and legally defined a proposal that the Government unanimously accepted, and I hope it will also receive a majority in the Assembly - stated Minister Pandurević.
