Government of Sarajevo Canton: Directors of MESS, Chamber Theatre and Museum of Sarajevo dismissed

At today's session, the Government of Sarajevo Canton gave its consent to the Decision of the Management Board of the Cantonal Public Institution "Home for Social and Health Care of Persons with Disabilities and Other Persons" to appoint Sanita Alagić, B.Sc. in Economics, as director of this institution. The Government also gave its consent to the School Board of the Elementary School "Čengić -Vila I" Sarajevo to appoint Nermin Sabljica, professor of life skills, as director of the School, reports the news agency Patria.

The Government today issued a decision appointing doc. dr. sci. med. Amela Sofić, specialist in radiodiagnostics, as a representative of the co-founder - Sarajevo Canton - to the Supervisory Board of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo. The representative of Sarajevo Canton on the Supervisory Board of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo is appointed by the Government of the Federation of BiH, upon the proposal of the Federal Minister of Health.

Due to the expiration of the mandate, the Government dismissed Edin Mustafić from the position of director of MESS, the International Theater Festival Scena, and gave consent to the Management Board of this Public Institution to appoint Lejla Hasanbegović as acting director, until the completion of the competition procedure, but for no longer than six months from the date of her appointment.

After the Canton Assembly did not adopt the reports on work and financial operations for 2014, the Government dismissed the director of the Public Institution "Museum of Sarajevo" Amra Madžarević, then the director of the "Chamber Theatre 55" Dragan Jovičić, and the director of the "Cantonal Institute for the Protection of Cultural, Historical and Natural Heritage, Sarajevo" Munib Buljina. For the same reason, the president and members of the Management Board of the Public Institution "Museums of Sarajevo" and the Public Institution "Chamber Theatre 55" were dismissed, and acting directors were appointed to these positions until the completion of the public competition procedure, the Government of Sarajevo Canton announced.
