KS Government Secures Special Transport for Employees in Healthcare and Security Sectors of KS

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Due to the current situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the order of the Federal Civil Protection Headquarters which suspended public transport throughout the FBiH, the KS Government has decided to ensure special transport for employees in the healthcare and security sectors of Sarajevo Canton through special measures.

The KS Ministry of Transport will organize with KJKP "Gras" and the company "Centrotrans" to ensure a sufficient number of buses from tomorrow, which, with the prescribed measures and recommendations for public health protection, will transport employees in the mentioned sectors to work daily.

The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Internal Affairs will provide the Ministry of Transport with lists of employees, it was announced from the KS Government.

Information on the locations and times when carriers will pick up passengers in the municipalities of KS, and transport them to their workplaces, will be known and published by the end of today on the website and Facebook page of the Government, and will also be delivered to the media.

When entering the buses, employees in the healthcare and security sectors will be obliged to present their official accreditation to the driver.

By the Government's conclusion, employers outside these sectors will organize and adapt the transport of their workers in accordance with their work organization and working hours.

The KS Government informs all passengers in Sarajevo Canton who have purchased transport coupons for March that their validity will be extended for the number of days they did not use them this month, after the regular line transport is established.
