Government of Sarajevo Canton gives consent to the Children of Sarajevo Board of Directors to relieve Jovanović-Halilović of her director position

After the Sarajevo Canton Assembly at its session on May 27 did not adopt the Report on the work and financial operations of the Sarajevo Canton Health Insurance Institute for 2014, the Government today made a decision to initiate proceedings for the dismissal of the director of the Sarajevo Canton Health Insurance Institute, before the expiration of the mandate of director Kenan Crnkić.

For the purpose of implementing the court security measure determined by the decision of the Cantonal Court from July 2013 and the Conclusion of the Municipal Court from April 2015, the Government today issued a decision on the dismissal of the president and four members of the Management Board of the Sarajevo Canton Health Insurance Institute. Those dismissed are: Esed Radeljaš – President of the Management Board and members Merita Tirić – Čampara, Emina Kasumagić – Halilović, Zahida Dizdar and Samir Kazić.

At today's session, the Government also issued a decision on the reassignment of the president and four members of the Management Board of the Health Insurance Institute to the positions they held before the adoption of the decision of the Sarajevo Canton Government of December 6, 2012, according to the Conclusion of the Municipal Court of Sarajevo Canton from April 2015. Jasmina Selimović was reinstated as President of the Management Board, while Senka Mesihović-Dinarević, Davorka Matković, Alen Pilav and Lejla Turulja are the new/old members of this management board.

The Government today gave consent to the Management Board of the Children of Sarajevo to relieve Mirjana Jovanović-Halilović of her position as director, before the expiration of her mandate, at her own request.

Due to the rationalization of work organization and reduction of financial expenditures, the Government today dismissed the president and members of the management board for the implementation of the Action Plan for the informatization of healthcare in Sarajevo Canton, and in the coming period, the actual needs and directions for implementing the said action plan will be determined.
