Government of Sarajevo Canton supports the work of Minister Zineta Bogunić

(Patria) - The Government of Sarajevo Canton at today's session expressed its full support for the work of the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton, Zineta Bogunić. The Government rejects all tendentious allegations made on several occasions by the President of the Independent Union of Primary Education and Upbringing of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Cantonal Committee of Sarajevo Canton, Saudin Sivro, regarding the work of the relevant minister and the Ministry as a whole.

"No right from the collective agreements of employees in the education system has been or will be jeopardized. With the arrival of this government, the implementation of collective agreements has been improved, and better treatment of employees in the education sector has been demonstrated. We also recall that the Government demonstrated its commitment to improving the standards of employees in the public sector, including education, as well as respecting obligations that others assumed but did not fulfill, by paying the difference in salary funds based on an increased base rate before the deadlines. The Government of Sarajevo Canton stated that, as a united collective, it stands behind each of its members, acts unanimously in decision-making, and will not succumb to unfounded pressures from those who disapprove of the reform measures it is implementing.
