Government and Assembly of Sarajevo Canton send telegram of condolence over tragedy in Switzerland

(Patria) - Leaders of the Assembly and Government of Sarajevo Canton sent a telegram of condolence to the Embassy of Switzerland in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to the people of Switzerland, over the terrible tragedy that occurred in Crans-Montana.

In their telegram, the Assembly and Government of Sarajevo Canton expressed deep regret over the immense loss of human life and sincere sympathy with the families of the victims, the injured, and the entire people of Switzerland, emphasizing solidarity and support in these difficult moments.

Chairperson of the Assembly Elvedina Okerić and Prime Minister Nihad Uk stated in a joint message that the citizens of Sarajevo Canton are deeply shaken by this tragedy, and that they share the pain with the families of the deceased and the friendly people of Switzerland.

They emphasized that such tragic events remind us of the importance of solidarity, humanity, and mutual support among peoples, especially in times of great suffering.

Chairperson Okerić and Prime Minister Uk expressed hope for a speedy recovery of the injured.
