FBiH Government Seeks More Money for Federal Grants, Directly Managed by SDA and HDZ Ministers

Through the rebalancing of the federal budget, the FBiH Government is allocating more money for federal grants, which are directly managed by federal ministers, a move the opposition has deemed unacceptable because it opens the possibility of manipulation of budget funds, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

If the budget rebalancing is adopted as proposed by the Government, it means that millions of KM from federal grants will be directly managed by the SDA and HDZ BiH with the help of their ministers.

In the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH, a debate is underway on the rebalancing of the FBiH budget, and the opposition has warned that if the proposed budget rebalancing passes, the Federation is approaching a Greek scenario, because to the federal debt, which is over one billion KM, an additional 200 million KM of debt with commercial banks is being added.

The rebalancing also provides for an increase in the FBiH budget by about 14 million KM, compared to the budget adopted at the end of March, writes NAP.
