FBiH Government agrees on inter-entity agreement in the field of mining and geology

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The FBiH Government adopted a Decision to give consent to the Agreement between the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry and the Ministry of Energy and Mining of the RS on the mutual acceptance of certificates of passed professional exams in the field of mining and geology, and authorized the Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry to sign it.

This was done after the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry received information that companies engaged in activities in the field of mining and geology have a problem on the ground due to certificates of passed professional exams in the field of mining and geology for employees of companies performing activities on the territory of the Federation of BiH, who passed the professional exam in the RS, and vice versa.

In this regard, the need arose to regulate the issue of recognition of these exams in the territory of FBiH and RS.

Entity regulations do not regulate the issue of recognition, acceptance or validity of professional exams on the territory of the other entity, which is why companies engaged in mining and geology have problems.
