FBiH Government agrees to send FUCZ team to Slovenia, awaiting BiH Council of Ministers

(Patria) - The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at today's emergency, telephonically held session, accepted the information from the Federal Civil Protection Administration regarding the floods in the Republic of Slovenia with a proposal for response to the Republic of Slovenia's request for international assistance in mitigating the consequences of the floods.

The Government of the Federation of BiH gives its consent to the Council of Ministers of BiH to dispatch operational protection and rescue forces from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of Bosnia and Herzegovina's operation to provide international assistance to the Republic of Slovenia in eliminating the consequences of the catastrophic floods.

The Federal Civil Protection Administration is tasked with, on behalf of the Government of the Federation of BiH, through the Ministry of Security of BiH, immediately submitting this conclusion to the Council of Ministers of BiH, coordinating the dispatch of international assistance to the Republic of Slovenia, and reporting to the Government of the FBiH upon completion of the assistance operation.
Furthermore, the Federal Civil Protection Administration is tasked with submitting a request to the Federal Ministry of Finance for the allocation of funds from the Current Reserve of the Government of FBiH for 2023 to finance the costs of engaging protection and rescue services.
