FBiH Government invites representatives of pensioners to a meeting on September 17

(Patria) - While reviewing the Annual Report on the Work of the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Fund for 2023, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a conclusion inviting representatives of the associations of pensioners in the Federation of BiH to a meeting with a delegation of the Federal Government.

This meeting is planned to be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the headquarters of the Government of the Federation of BiH in Sarajevo. The delegation of the Government of the Federation of BiH will include the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH and two Deputy Prime Ministers of the FBiH, as well as the relevant Federal Minister of Labor and Social Policy, and the Director of the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Fund.

We remind you that the Pensioners' Association announced for September 17 that they will submit a petition signed by pensioners for an increase in pensions and extraordinary adjustments.

If the Government ignores their requests, they are preparing protests in front of the FBiH Government for October 3.
