FBiH Government withdraws amendments to the Law on Internal Affairs and Police Officers from the House of Representatives PFBiH session

(Patria) - At today's emergency session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, the Federal Minister of Internal Affairs, Ramo Isak, withdrew both laws that the FBiH Government determined at its session on July 18, before the agenda was determined. These are the Law on Internal Affairs of the FBiH and the Law on Police Officers. This morning, the Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić also requested postponement from the FBiH Parliament without specific explanation.

Given the relations within the coalition and the statements that followed the meeting in Konjic between the SDP and HDZ, especially from Narod i Pravda, whose members did not attend that meeting, the laws were withdrawn from the agenda.

Member of the Party for BiH, Admir Čavalić, requested that today's agenda be supplemented with the proposal of the Law on the South Interconnection BiH-Croatia gas pipeline under an urgent procedure. Based on individual voting, 46 representatives supported it, while 30 abstained and 16 were against, so this proposal did not receive the necessary support.

On the agenda are the Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development 2021-2027 under an urgent procedure and the harmonization of the Law on Waste Management.
