FBiH Government wrote to the Union: Invitation to continue social dialogue

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a conclusion at its 38th session and immediately forwarded it to the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a response to union demands, reports the Patria news agency.

- Respecting the competencies of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina prescribed by the Constitution and laws, and the need to continue dialogue, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina invites all partners to continue social dialogue, with the aim of reaching a final solution regarding the conclusion of collective agreements and the protection of economic and social policy in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 38th regular session held on January 22, 2016, adopted the Draft Law on Amendments to the Labor Law, which the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will submit to the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina through regular procedure.

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, within its competencies and authorities, do everything to ensure the conditions for maintaining macroeconomic stability of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the liquidity of the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Institute, the Federal Health Insurance Institute, the Federal Employment Institute, as well as the economic and social security of citizens of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially the most vulnerable and sensitive categories of the population - children, pensioners, and the unemployed - states the Government's conclusion, which enters into force on the day of its adoption and was signed by the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić.
