FBiH Government held 150 extraordinary sessions: At the last one, it approved Sunday trading in Orašje, but there is no announcement about it

(Patria) - Retail spaces, i.e., shops in the city of Orašje, will be able to operate on Sundays and holidays, decided the Government of the Federation of BiH at the proposal of the City of Orašje, where Čović's HDZ BiH holds power.

The City Council of Orašje, at its session on November 27, 2024, adopted the Decision on the proposal of working hours for retail facilities in the territory of the City of Orašje, which proposes to the Government of the Federation of BiH that retail facilities in the territory of the City of Orašje be exempted from the provisions of Article 18 of the Law on Internal Trade, meaning that shops in the territory of the City of Orašje can operate on Sundays and holidays.

The Federal Government complied with the City of Orašje at its session on December 19, 2024, which means that those retail facilities that wish to can operate on Sundays, but they are not obliged to, it was announced from the Orašje City Administration.

Interestingly, the Government of the Federation of BiH did not inform the public that this session was held at all, as it usually does.

The Government of the Federation of BiH's website still makes no mention of this session, stating that the last session was held on December 11.

This is somewhat strange, especially since it concerns an issue that has been in the public focus in recent months, BiznisInfo.ba reminds.
