FBiH Government Approves Around 60,000 BAM for Education of Bosniak Children in Vrbanjci

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina today approved just over 60,000 BAM to provide instructional classes for primary school students of Bosniak nationality from the village of Vrbanjci - Kotor Varoš in the Republic of Srpska, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

Students of Bosniak nationality from the village of Vrbanjci, as well as from Konjević-Polje in eastern Bosnia, are again this school year attending instructional classes instead of regular ones, because the authorities in the RS refuse to approve a national group of subjects for them.

Due to such a discriminatory attitude by the authorities from the RS, parents of Bosniak children decided last year to boycott classes in these schools.

Premises for the extraordinary education of Bosniak children in these locations were provided by the Islamic Community in BiH, and the Government of the Federation of BiH today approved 61,157 convertible marks for classes in Vrbanjci, announced the Government, as reported by NAP.
