FBiH Government approves 2 million KM for procurement of equipment and coronavirus tests

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Government of the Federation of BiH, at today's emergency, telephonically held session, gave prior consent to the Federal Civil Protection Staff for the procurement of materials and equipment in the conditions of a worsened epidemiological situation from the funds of the special fee for protection against natural and other disasters in 2020, in the total amount of up to 2,096,415 KM.

These funds are intended for the procurement of 100,000 protective masks, 2,000 liters of disinfectant, 250,000 protective gloves, 20 handheld medical cameras with a body temperature measurement system, 1,000 reusable welded protective suits, 600 beds with mattresses and bedding for quarantine, and 30,000 tests for the detection of nCov-2019.

In order to prevent the spread of the disease caused by coronavirus (COVID-19), a conclusion was reached at today's session that work in the Government of FBiH, federal administrative bodies, federal administrative organizations and expert and other services of the Government of FBiH will be organized in accordance with the decision of the head, by which employees, starting from 23.3.2020, will be sent on annual leave, taking care to ensure the performance of tasks by those whose work is necessary for the smooth functioning of the bodies.

The heads of these bodies are obliged to send employees over 60 years of age, employees with diagnosed chronic diseases, as well as pregnant women, starting from 23.3.2020, to use the remaining annual leave from 2019, or to use the first part of the annual leave from 2020, for a duration of at least 12 working days, if the employees have already used their annual leave from 2019.

Working hours for civil servants and employees in the Government of FBiH, federal administrative bodies, federal administrative organizations and expert and other services of the Government of FBiH will be from 9 AM to 2 PM, starting from Monday, 23.3.2020, due to the suspension of public transport in the Federation of BiH.

Clients communicating with the Government of FBiH, federal administrative bodies, federal administrative organizations and expert and other services of the Government of FBiH are advised, in accordance with the preventive measures in force, to communicate exclusively by phone and electronically (e-mail), to send all submissions by mail, and to avoid direct arrival at the premises of the bodies.
