FBiH Government Rejected Offer for Aluminij Mostar

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Federal Government considered information about Aluminij Mostar, and Prime Minister Fadil Novalić was authorized to send a response to Abraham Group regarding the rejection and reasons for rejecting the offer to lease the Mostar company.

"The Government can neither lease nor charge rent for the joint-stock company, nor can it assume any debts and their repayment. Furthermore, in accordance with the proposed rent amount, it would take 450 – 1,000 years to repay the debts. The FBiH Government cannot grant Aluminij Industries Ltd. the 'exclusive right to purchase the entire factory, its machinery, brand name, land, and any other intellectual property during the first 55 years of the 30-year lease period'," the FBiH Government announced.
