Government of FBiH: Information that new measures including VTP certificate are being introduced tomorrow is not true

(Patria) - We inform the public that the information published today in the media, "that new epidemiological measures are being introduced from tomorrow in the Federation of BiH, which include the rule
'vaccinated-tested-recovered' (VTP)", is incorrect, and the information "that all citizens, employees in the health and social sector, and public administrations, will have to meet one of these three conditions when coming to work" is untrue, announced the Government of FBiH.

"Also, we inform the public that the information that the Assistant Minister of Health of the Federation, Marina Bera, gave any statements to the media regarding this topic today or in previous days is untrue. Namely, a news item appeared in the media today stating that the VPT rule is being introduced from tomorrow, 20.12.2021, in the Federation of BiH, along with a statement by Assistant Minister Marina Bera, which could cause unrest among the public. The mentioned statement was given a month ago, on 18.11.2021, at a press conference after the adoption of the order introducing the VPT rule. We emphasize that this measure
was abolished on 2.12.2021, and by the conclusion of the Government of the Federation of BiH, recommendations were given to the cantons to introduce the VPT Rule for the area of the canton in accordance with the epidemiological situation and risk assessment, and to inform the Crisis Staff of the FMZ about it, which Assistant Minister Bera also informed the public about on the same day.

Therefore, we deny all content that uses the statement of Assistant Minister of Health Marina Bera, given a month ago in a completely different
context, as the source of today's information. We emphasize that the current measures in the Federation of BiH are those that the Government of the Federation of BiH adopted at its 295th session,
held on 16.12.2021, based on the proposal of the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health, and that the adopted orders and recommendations of the Crisis Staff of the FMZ are in force for 14 days.

Among the valid measures is a recommendation to the cantonal governments, in accordance with the epidemiological situation in the canton, risk assessment, and the document 'Public Health Criteria for
the Adjustment of Public Health and Social Measures in the Context of COVID-19', to introduce the Rule of vaccinated, recovered, tested (VPT) for the area of the canton and to inform the Crisis Staff
of the FMZ about it. We point out that all adopted measures (conclusions, orders and recommendations) are submitted to the cantons and published in the Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH.

From the stated facts, it is concluded that no new measures are being introduced from tomorrow in the Federation of BiH, and that according to the current measures in FBiH, the introduction of the VPT rule is not an obligation, but a recommendation to cantonal governments," the announcement stated.
