FBiH Government did not appoint new Supervisory Board members, deadline to submit court decision on Airport Management appointment is February 14

(Patria) - The Sarajevo Municipal Court's registry still lists the Management of JP Sarajevo International Airport, composed of Sanin Ramezić as acting director, and two executive directors, Amadeo Mandić and Slobodan Kadijević. The Special Department of the FBiH Supreme Court issued prohibition measures against Ramezić and three members of the Airport's Supervisory Board on December 5, 2025.

Following this, the FBiH Government gave its consent for Mandić to be appointed as acting director, but it was precisely due to this method of appointment that the Municipal Court refused to register it. Mandić was appointed by the Assembly of JP Sarajevo International Airport Company, and according to the Airport's Statute, the Company's Assembly does not have the authority to appoint or confirm an acting director, as these powers, according to regulations, belong to the Supervisory Board.

Even after the Sarajevo Municipal Court refused to register Mandić, the necessary documentation has been awaited since January 14.

After it became clear to the FBiH Government that it had violated the procedure, at its session held on January 28, it adopted the information from the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications regarding the need to make decisions concerning JP Sarajevo International Airport.

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, without delay, consider and act upon the Proposal of the Decision on giving prior consent for the dismissal of Supervisory Board members and the Proposal
of the Decision on giving prior consent for the appointment of acting members
of the Supervisory Board, in order to establish a functional management structure of the Company.

The Conclusion tasks JP Sarajevo International Airport d.o.o. Sarajevo to, upon receiving the Decision on giving prior consent for the dismissal of Supervisory Board members and the Decision on giving prior consent for the appointment of acting members
of the Supervisory Board, take all necessary actions without delay to implement the Conclusion of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo dated January 14, 2026, including the registration in the court registry, in order to avoid negative consequences for the Company's operations and the airport operator's status.

Furthermore, the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications is tasked with monitoring the implementation of this conclusion.

The information states, among other things, that JP Sarajevo International Airport
d.o.o. Sarajevo informed the Ministry and the FBiH Government by letter about the new situation, which includes the Conclusion of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, ordering JP Sarajevo International
Airport d.o.o. Sarajevo to supplement the application for the registration of authorized persons in the court registry by submitting the Supervisory Board's Decision on the dismissal and appointment of Management members, with a deadline of 30 days.

Half of the deadline has already expired. The Official Gazette of FBiH published today does not contain decisions on the dismissal and appointment of Supervisory Board members.

While the saga regarding the legal management structure continues, it remains unclear who is signing decisions, salaries, and other documents and procedures at Sarajevo International Airport.

The investigation in this case is being conducted by POSKOK, and it remains to be seen whether it will be extended to members of the Government that illegally gave consent for the Assembly to appoint Mandić as acting director.
