FBiH Government: Top sports results of Lana Pudar and Ismail Barlov awarded

(Patria) - The FBiH Government, at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sport, has made six decisions on awarding prizes for top sports results achieved at international competitions, totaling 56,500 KM.

The Swimming Federation of FBiH from Sarajevo is awarded a monetary prize of 22,500 KM for breaking the European Junior Record in the 200m butterfly at the European Junior Championship held in Belgrade in 2023. Of this amount, 15,000 KM is awarded to athlete Lana Pudar, and 7,500 KM to coach Damir Đedović.

Also, the Swimming Federation of FBiH from Sarajevo is awarded a monetary prize of 4,500 KM for breaking the national senior record in para-swimming at the World Championship held in Manchester in 2023, of which 3,000 KM is for athlete Ismail Barlov, and 1,500 KM for coach Amel Kapi.

The Weightlifting Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from Sarajevo is awarded a monetary prize of 4,500 KM for breaking the national senior record in the 67 kg category in the clean and jerk at the European Senior Championship held in Romania in 2023. Of this amount, 3,000 KM is awarded to athlete Faris Durak, and 1,500 KM to coach Haris Durak.

The Boxing Club Sarajevo from Sarajevo is awarded a monetary prize of 7,500 KM for winning a bronze medal in Olympic boxing at the European Junior Championship held in Romania in 2023, of which 5,000 KM is for athlete Tarik Kunovac, and 2,500 KM for coach Nijaz Kunovac.

The Taekwondo Club Sarajevo from Sarajevo is awarded a monetary prize of 15,000 KM for winning a bronze medal in the senior women's category up to 49 kg at the European Senior Championship held in Estonia in 2023. Of this amount, 10,000 KM is awarded to athlete Ada Avdagić, and 5,000 KM to coach Ibrahim Koljo.

The Athletics Club Puls from Tomislavgrad is awarded a monetary prize of 2,500 KM to athlete Danijela Kuni for winning first place in the women's competition as the current champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the half marathon for 2023.

Today's decisions were made in accordance with the Decree on determining the criteria for awarding prizes to athletes, sports workers, and sports associations from the FBiH for top sports results achieved at international competitions.

Approval for awarding 295,000 KM in prizes to sports federations, associations, and clubs

The FBiH Government, at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sport, has adopted a conclusion approving the awarding of prizes to sports federations, associations, and clubs, which will be allocated from the Current Reserve of the FBiH Government Budget for 2023, totaling 295,000 KM.

These are prizes intended for the Swimming Federation of FBiH (75,000 KM), the Sitting Volleyball Federation of BiH (180,000 KM), the Boxing Club Ilidža (15,000 KM), and the Taekwondo Club Novi Grad Sarajevo (5,000 KM). Furthermore, 4,500 KM each is planned for the Weightlifting Federation of BiH and the Association for Sport and Recreation of Disabled Persons of Novi Grad Municipality Sarajevo, and amounts of 3,000 KM each for the Taekwondo Club Šampion Sarajevo, and the Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation of FBiH. Funds in the amount of 2,500 KM each are planned for the Association Athletics Club Goražde and the Boxing Federation of FBiH.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sport is tasked with submitting a request to the Federal Ministry of Finance for the allocation of these funds, and for the next session of the FBiH Government, a proposal for a decision on approving the allocation of funds from the Current Reserve of the FBiH Government Budget for 2023 in the amount of 295,000 KM for prizes will be prepared.

The conclusion was adopted based on the information from the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sport regarding the need to allocate funds from the Current Reserve of the FBiH Government Budget to this ministry for the purpose of rewarding athletes for top sports results achieved in accordance with the Decree on determining the criteria for awarding prizes to athletes, sports workers, and sports associations from FBiH for top sports results achieved at international competitions.
