FBiH Government appointed Hasanović Director of FBiH Tax Administration yesterday, decision published in the Official Gazette of FBiH

(Patria) - While preparations for a strike are underway at the FBiH Tax Administration, the FBiH Government appointed Muhamed Hasanović (SDP BiH) as the Director of the FBiH Tax Administration at yesterday's emergency session for a term of four years.

This appointment has been pending since March when the FBiH Civil Service Agency concluded all procedures, and Admir Omerbašić was managing the FBiH Tax Administration under the authority of the FBiH Government.

Hasanović must now leave the very important position of Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury, which will be very difficult to fill due to the relations within the coalition.

The Law on Fiscalization of Transactions, which entails a completely new fiscalization system in which the FBiH Tax Administration will play a major role, will also be on the agenda of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament on December 29.

The Trade Union of Employees in the FBiH Tax Administration has warned that the FBiH Tax Administration does not have the capacity to implement any reforms with its current infrastructure and number of employees.
