FBiH Government Allocates BAM 300,000 to Gračanica Municipality

The FBiH Government has allocated BAM 300,000 from its Current Reserves to the Municipality of Gračanica in construction materials - roof tiles - for the repair of damage caused by recent storms accompanied by hail, wind, and rain, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The storm hit Gračanica on August 23, 2014, and the onslaught of wind, hail, and rain damaged about 1,000 residential buildings, two primary schools, the House of Culture, several commercial, and several hundred business facilities.

The Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić received the General Director of "Coca-Cola HBC B-H" d.o.o. Sarajevo Mircea Drăje today at the Government headquarters in Sarajevo, who informed him about the activities of this large company, which has been undertaking activities since May to help the population in the flooded areas of our country.

"Coca-Cola B-H" intends to channel part of its aid through the Fund for Assistance to Disaster-Stricken Areas.

In May, "Coca-Cola" provided 75,000 liters of bottled water to the population in the flooded areas, and 96 employees participated in aid efforts, working over 1,180 volunteer hours.

As emphasized by Director Drăje, this company has so far allocated donations worth approximately 840,000 convertible marks as aid to the flooded areas, and will continue with such activities in the future.
