FBiH Government allocates 50,000 KM for the reconstruction of the Cathedral Church in Mostar

(Patria) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin Nikšić and Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Nerin Dizdar attended today in Mostar a donor lunch organized on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the consecration of the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity in Mostar and the completion of its reconstruction.

Prior to this event, they presented the host, the parish priest of Mostar and head of the Cathedral Church, Duško Kojić, with a contract worth 50,000 KM for the continuation of works, which was allocated by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees.

"The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to support the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the Cathedral Church until the final completion of the works," emphasized Prime Minister Nikšić.

Federal Minister Nerin Dizdar also stated that the support of the FBiH Government for the reconstruction of the Cathedral Church is unquestionable.

"The Cathedral Church is one of the most important sacral symbols of Bosnia and Herzegovina's cultural heritage and its plural character. It is an honor for us to be able to support its reconstruction," said Minister Dizdar.
