SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Government of the Federation of BiH supported the initiative to secure funds for the Emergency Support Project for companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina through a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The Federation of BiH's borrowing under this loan would amount to up to 45 million euros, and the total amount allocated to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the final allocation of funds between the entities, will be agreed upon during negotiations.
The Federal Ministry of Finance, the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, and the Development Bank of FBiH are tasked with appointing authorized representatives to the negotiation team for this loan. The final decision on the borrowing will be made upon completion of negotiations with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The Federal Ministry of Finance will submit information on the negotiations to the FBiH Government, as well as the text of the agreed loan agreement between the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This ministry is also tasked with forwarding this conclusion to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH for the implementation of further procedures regarding the loan.
