FBiH Government Adopts Decision: Federation to Borrow 635 Million KM

(Patria) - At a session held on February 19, the Government of the Federation of BiH borrowed 500 million KM through bond issuance and 135 million KM through short-term loans, totaling 635 million KM, and adopted 14 decisions, writes Istraga.ba

The Government adopted six decisions on borrowing through bond issuance, in the amount of 50 million KM with a maturity of three years, 40 million with a maturity of 273 days, 150 million KM with a maturity of five years, 40 million KM, 120 million KM with a maturity of 182 days, and 100 million KM with a maturity of seven years.

Through short-term revolving loans, the Government borrowed 5 million KM from Union bank d.d. Sarajevo at a fixed interest rate of 3 percent per annum. The repayment period is the end of the year. Under the same conditions, but a larger amount, the Government borrowed 15 million KM from the same bank.

It also borrowed through a short-term revolving loan from ASA Bank d.d. Sarajevo in the amount of 10 million KM. The repayment period is the end of the year, and the interest rate is three percent. In the same bank, it borrowed an additional 40 million KM with an annual interest rate of three percent and a repayment period of three years.

In Privredna banka Sarajevo, the Government borrowed based on two short-term revolving loans. The first in the amount of 5 million KM with an interest rate of three percent and a repayment period until the end of the year, and the second, under the same conditions, in the amount of 15 million KM.

In addition, through a short-term revolving loan, the Federation of FBiH borrowed from Intesa Sanpaolo banka BiH in the amount of 40 million KM with an annual interest rate of 3 percent and a repayment period until the end of the year. Under the same conditions, the Government borrowed an additional 5 million KM from the same bank.
