FBiH Government: Day of Mourning on Monday, September 8

The FBiH Government decided today at an emergency session that, due to the severe mining accident in the "Raspotočje" mine, in which five miners died, and their funerals, Monday, September 8, 2014, will be a Day of Mourning in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the Patria agency.

The Day of Mourning is marked by the mandatory flying of the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina at half-mast, i.e. on the flagpole, on the buildings of the FBiH Government and institutions of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Media outlets in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as organizers of cultural-artistic and sports events in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are obliged to adapt their program content to the Day of Mourning.

The Federal Government also decided to allocate 50,000 convertible marks from the Current Reserve of the Federal Government as assistance to the families of the deceased miners.
