SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Federal Government today approved the wholesale price of natural gas for distribution companies in the Federation of BiH, effective May 1, 2019, which amounts to 640 KM/1000 Sm 3, or 0.640 KM/Sm 3. This price does not include value-added tax.
The decision was made after BH-Gas d.o.o. Sarajevo submitted a request to the Federal Ministry of Trade on April 22, 2019, for a change in the wholesale price of natural gas to distribution companies. The request was accompanied by a Decision from the company's Supervisory Board and a positive opinion from the Federal Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mining.
After reviewing and analyzing the request, as well as the submitted documentation indicating an increase in the Russian purchase price and the dollar exchange rate, a price increase of 29.29 percent was accepted.
The decision was made considering the costs of the purchase price, the current position of BH-Gas d.o.o. Sarajevo, strategic projects, and all aspects of the company's operations.
