Montenegrin Government Will Fall, It's Only a Matter of Time

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Government of Montenegro should fall due to its incompetence and everything it does contrary to the interests of the state and its citizens, said SDP MP Draginja Vuksanović-Stanković, assessing that it is important to coordinate the timing for this to ensure the initiative is successful.

Speaking about the recently withdrawn opposition initiative to dismiss the Government in parliament, she stated that it doesn't matter if it falls today or tomorrow, because it is definite that it will fall.

"It was just a matter of timing. That initiative was withdrawn on that day, and what is very important is that due to the way the government's policy has been conducted over the past year, you have a situation where only one MP sincerely supports this government. All others are against it and the policy it pursues," Vuksanović-Stanković said in an interview with Radio Television Nikšić.

The question is, she says, how much the DF will tolerate humiliation as a political entity that supported the Government, even though there is no communication between them.

The only thing this government has succeeded in, says Vuksanović-Stanković, is the erosion of Montenegrin identity.

"Complete erosion of the system, the state is treated as a toy, with some people whose first day of work is in parliament or the Government of Montenegro," emphasized Vuksanović-Stanković.

The key elements of a state are institutions and the people, she said, so it is important to know the institution one is coming to work in.

Vuksanović-Stanković said that Montenegro, 30 years after Jezda and Dafina, has Milojko and Jakov on the political scene regarding the budget, who are offering citizens a false promise. The SDP will always be for salary and pension increases, but only if it is fiscally realistic.

"When you combine incompetence and ignorance, you have poor work and poor results. The second aspect is those who know the system very well, but do not love Montenegro, who serve official Belgrade to undermine Montenegro in every way, to bring it to economic and political collapse, to make it appear weak and in need of help from others. But Montenegro is not weak," Vuksanović-Stanković stated.
