Expert Mastilović determines whether Ortačka grupa honoured the contract after taking over Krivaja

Court-appointed economic expert Luka Mastilović confirmed to Patria that he has been engaged in the lawsuit between the bankrupt company Krivaja and the new owner Ortačka grupa, which consists of four business entities. He arrived at the Krivaja premises on Friday morning.

Workers of Krivaja from Zavidovići initiated a lawsuit before the Cantonal Court in Zenica against Ortačka grupa, which privatised Krivaja in 2014, but, the workers claim, the new owner did not honour the contract it committed to, namely new investments in the company, retaining Krivaja's workers, repaying inherited loans... The workers now seek termination of the contract and sale of the company to a new investor. For several months, Krivaja's plants have not been operating, and workers have not been coming to work.

Expert Mastilović will provide a professional opinion on which part of this contract has been honoured and which has not, when it was honoured, and will also comment on other details related to the execution of the contract between Krivaja and the new owner. The opinion of expert Mastilović will be used as one of the pieces of evidence during the court proceedings before the Court in Zenica.

The expert's finding will be completed in the next few weeks. The main hearing is in March.

Last year, all companies in Zavidovići stopped work for several hours in solidarity with the workers of Krivaja, Patria reports.
