Wedding outside Ilidža Municipality building costs 400 KM

Ilidža Municipality has changed the Decision on the amount of fees for special services in the marriage procedure. If the marriage is concluded outside the official municipal premises (hotels, restaurants, etc.), the newlyweds are obliged to pay 400 KM, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

- Marriages in such cases are performed every day between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Owners of catering facilities are obliged to provide a suitable room with appropriate conditions for the solemn act of marriage - according to the statement from the Ilidža Municipality.

Permission to perform the marriage outside the official premises of the municipality is issued in the form of a decision based on which future spouses will make the payment. If future spouses withdraw their marriage application, they can request a refund of the paid amount.

If, however, future spouses wish to marry on days that are not determined by a special act of the Municipal Mayor as days when marriages are performed in the official municipal premises, i.e., Wednesdays and Saturdays, they can request it exclusively on working days between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with a fee of 100 KM.

Otherwise, getting married in the official premises of Ilidža Municipality, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, is free.
