ETERNAL DERBY Sarajevo needs a win in the title race, Željezničar for honour and a return from the abyss

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Today, the Premier League football competition will continue at three stadiums in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with two derbies awaiting us. 

The season has entered its final stretch, and the battle for the title and European qualification has never been more uncertain. 

In Sarajevo, at the "Asim Ferhatović Hase" Stadium, the eternal city derby between Sarajevo and Željezničar will be played at 4:55 PM. The hosts have lost a significant lead in the second part of the season and have ceded first place to Borac, who have a game in hand and one point more. Therefore, they cannot afford a slip-up, as few matches remain until the end. An additional motivation should be the fact that they are playing today at the stadium which, after the signing of the contract, will be handed over to Sarajevo for management. 

Željo has been in crisis for almost the entire season and finds itself in positions far from the club's ambitions and reputation. Amar Osim has left, and Blaž Slišković has replaced him on the coaching bench, who also did not start well.

At 7:05 PM, the Herzegovina derby between Široki Brijeg and Zrinjski will be played. Both teams are in the race for European qualification, so there should be no lack of motivation for either side. Široki is in somewhat poorer form after several weak results at home and away. 

At 3:00 PM, bottom-placed Krupa will host Mladost from Doboj near Kakanj in an attempt to improve their poor points tally. 

Yesterday, two matches were played: Velež and Borac drew 1:1, while Sloboda won in Bijeljina 2:1.
