Residents of the village of Plaholje near Visoko thanked local authorities in an unusual way for helping them asphalt the main village street in this location, about ten kilometers from the city.
Women from Plaholje baked cakes, which they brought to the Visoko Municipality building on Wednesday to treat the employees as a sign of gratitude for the new road in the village, reports the Patria news agency.

The mayor of Visoko Municipality, Amra Babić, officially opened the newly asphalted road, several hundred meters long, which runs through this village yesterday, and the very next day gifts from the local population began arriving at her office, reports NAP.
