High Representative visited ArcelorMittal

ZENICA, (Patria) - High Representative Valentin Inzko visited ArcelorMittal today, at the company's invitation, to attend a presentation on its current activities and future plans for investment.

The High Representative emphasized the importance of investments and new jobs in Bosnia and Herzegovina and praised ArcelorMittal for their contribution, as the largest exporter and one of the largest users of railways. He also reiterated the importance of implementing measures to improve environmental protection.

- As I have said many times, BiH is a country with enormous economic potential. However, many investors see BiH through the prism of political or administrative difficulties.

More must be done to make the country a truly favorable destination for new business opportunities and to attract investment, support economic development, and enable the creation of new jobs and the prosperity that this country and its citizens so desperately need. Greater efforts in environmental protection must be an integral part of these activities - said High Representative Inzko.
