High Temperatures: Start Your Journey in the Morning or Late Afternoon

(Patria) - Due to high daily temperatures, BIHAMK recommends traveling longer distances in the early morning or late afternoon hours. Drive carefully and maintain a safe distance. Truck drivers are kindly asked to temporarily pull over when they notice a long line of passenger vehicles behind them, to avoid risky overtaking.

On the Tuzla-Čelić section (in Lopare), traffic will be suspended for up to 30 minutes due to demining work until 4 PM (vehicles will be allowed through for 15 minutes). Demining work is ongoing until 4 PM at the entrance to Bosanska Krupa from the direction of Bihać, with 15-minute suspensions.

Due to ongoing works, we highlight the following main roads: Vitez-Travnik, Semizovac-Olovo, Kladanj-Vlasenica, Prozor-Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje, Foča-Ustikolina, Dobro Polje-Miljevina, and Bijeljina-Rača, as well as the entrance to Žepče.

On the Rogatica-Ustiprača main road, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons are using one lane, while traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons.

Increased traffic of vehicles exiting our country at the Izačić border crossing. At other border crossings, waiting times are currently no longer than 30 minutes.

Until the end of August, the Krstac border crossing (on the Gacko-Nikšić road) is open for passenger traffic.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum allowed weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing.
