(Patria) - After information appeared in some media that Radovan Višković would be dismissed or resign from the position of Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska entity, Višković himself denied these claims to "Nezavisne novine".
"It's all stories, the newspapers and media are writing it," Višković said briefly.
When asked if it is true that representatives of the ruling coalition in RS or at least representatives of SNSD will meet today, Višković did not answer.
Otherwise, never before, as in the previous two days, has the public in BiH been bombarded with information about the reconstruction of the RS Government, especially the resignation or dismissal of Prime Minister Radovan Višković.
Through some media, the news is circulating that Milorad Dodik, the convicted president of RS, personally asked Višković to step down, and that the Prime Minister of RS refused.
The "freshest" information suggests that Višković's resignation could happen as early as today, and that his potential replacements are already being prepared.
Otherwise, as a reminder, there have been talks about the reconstruction of the RS Government for more than two years.
Milorad Dodik, when taking office in 2022, announced that Višković's second term would last two years, specifically until 2024, but this did not happen.
If Višković is dismissed, his place could be taken by Siniša Karan, the current Minister of Internal Affairs of RS, Savo Minić, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of RS, but also Miroslav Bojić, the Mayor of Laktaši, and in some combination, Željko Budimir, the Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education, is not excluded.
