Several hundred miners in front of the FBiH Government building, several entered negotiations with the FBiH Government

(Patria) - Several hundred miners from RMU Zenica arrived in front of the FBiH Government building, joined by miners from other cities.

Representatives of the miners have been invited into the FBiH Government building for negotiations. The demands are that the collective agreement be respected.

Miners of RMU Zenica have not been paid their January and February salaries.

The Union stated that the mines are operational, and that today there are 300 miners from all seven mines in the Concern JP Elektroprivreda BiH.

"Today we must find a solution, and that is respect for the collective agreement. The relevant minister is one of the signatories of the collective agreement. We will not leave the miners of RMU Zenica alone. Salaries must be secured. If there are no salaries, many more of us will come here. Let no one ask us anything. We will come with our families. We will follow the miners of Zenica until the conditions of the collective agreement are met," said a union representative from the Kreka mine.
"Whichever government comes, the miner is a burden to everyone. We are ready for anything if these demands are not met. It will come to a situation where all colleagues come to Sarajevo with their families. If there is no solution, may God help us all. The demands are minimal and in accordance with the collective agreement," he added.

They called on JP Elektroprivreda and the Ministry of Energy and Mining to find a solution, but there is a justified fear that there is no money for the miners.
