More than 1,200 people yesterday marked the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide on the streets of Stuttgart, from the BiH Consulate to the city hall building in Stuttgart, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Participants carried a banner reading "I am Srebrenica, I do not forget" and the peaceful march was joined by the General Consul of BiH in Frankfurt, Dževad Šaldić, the Consul of BiH in Stuttgart, Dag Dužmrukčić, as well as the Mufti of the Islamic Community of Bosniaks in Germany, Pašo efendija Fetić.
Elsewhere, around the world where larger Bosnian communities exist, commemorations of this sad anniversary have been organized.
