Weekend vaccination at Importanne Center, first doses of Moderna, Pfizer, and Sinopharm available

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of KS is organizing the "Vaccination Towards Citizens" campaign for the fourth weekend in a row. Last weekend, 562 people were vaccinated at the point in Grand Center Ilidža. Vaccination in shopping malls began on November 6 this year, and a total of 2,000 people have been vaccinated at these points.

This weekend, November 27 and 28, the campaign continues at Importanne Shopping Center. Those who decide to get vaccinated at this center will have the first doses of Moderna, Pfizer, and Sinopharm vaccines available. Vaccination will last from 10 AM to 3 PM, and Importanne Shopping Center has provided free all-day parking and refreshments for everyone who comes for vaccination.

We emphasize that the third dose will not be administered at these points, but in healthcare institutions in the Sarajevo Canton, in accordance with the recommendations of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of KS. The third dose can be received by all adult citizens in the Sarajevo Canton.

"In this way, we want to make vaccination even easier for citizens, and we chose the shopping mall space because it records the largest number of gatherings, especially on weekends. It is important to emphasize that this point was visited mostly by young people, but all age groups were vaccinated. Children over 12 years of age were also vaccinated with parental consent," the Ministry of Health of KS announced.

In addition to the points in shopping malls, citizens of the Sarajevo Canton can get vaccinated at points in the health centers of KS. The Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health calls on citizens to respect the measures in force, primarily the mandatory mask and maintaining distance in enclosed spaces.
