Weekend Traffic Disruptions Due to Cycling Race and Works Across BiH

(Patria) - Due to the International Cycling Race this weekend, there will be phased traffic disruptions. Today (Saturday, April 18), the second stage of the race Mostar-Čapljina-Ljubuški-Klobuk and Sovići-Grude-Ljubuški will take place between 11 AM and 4 PM.

On Sunday, April 19, the final stage of the race will be held, running from Ljubuški-Stolac-Neum (12 PM - 3 PM).

On the Tuzla-Bijeljina main road (Banj Brdo), passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons are using one lane, alternating, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons remains suspended.

Movement of all vehicles over the bridge on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road is prohibited. Vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons can use the roads via Grepak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of gravel road), while trucks must use the route via Rogatica and Ustiprača.

Due to necessary road repair works on the A-1 Kakanj-Lašva section of the highway, the left side of the highway is closed for a length of 3 km. During the works, traffic is directed in both directions on the right side, in the direction of Lašva-Kakanj.

Due to necessary works on sections of the A-1 highway Sarajevo North-Podlugovi and Sarajevo West-Lepenica, traffic is redirected to the overtaking lane.

Due to expansion joint repair works on the bridge on the M-17 Konjic-Tarčin main road (before the Bradina tunnel), traffic is redirected from the driving lane to the overtaking lane.

On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons remains suspended.

On the Zvornik-Priboj regional road (in Goduš), traffic is slow, using one lane.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles are currently no longer than 30 minutes.

Due to passenger registration under the new EU Entry/Exit System (EES), longer waiting times at border crossings are possible.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all categories of vehicles. Traffic for all trucks is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.
